An Empty Life Chpt. 2

The bell rang. Indicating the end of homeroom. I started towards the door when I felt someone grab onto my hand. I turned around.
"Wait for me"
"Um ... sure"
Once Jack was ready, we walked together to our next class. Drama.
"So what do you think of Australia so far?"
"Oh. I think it's amazing. It's beautiful. With some amazing and beautiful people"
He stopped. He stood there. Looked into my eyes, his deep blue eyes pierced me. Then, he did it. He gave me one, long, light, kiss.

When we finally broke apart, he smiled at me. I smiled back.
"That was ... it was magical."
There was a pause. One side of Jack's mouth pulled into a grin.
"You sure smile a lot"
"A smile, is a compliment, without words"
Then he hugged me, held my hand and we walked towards the drama room.
"What does a hug mean?"
"A hug? A hug is ... it can mean anything in the world. All hugs are different. They all mean something different"
"What did that hug you just gave me, mean then?"
"That hug? That hug meant - it meant 'I love you'"
